    Book Summary

The Keeping Score book is a common sense guide to relationship evaluation. The book starts with a series of questions that have been specifically selected for each gender as part of determining what issues are present in the relationship. Following the evaluation section the questions are explained in greater depth and suggestions for how these specific areas in a relationship can be improved are offered.

The book itself is only half of the experience being offered. The non-book parts of Keeping Score are an interactive website and blog. The goal was to create a short simple entertaining read that readers of all levels could benefit from. The website and blog are designed to provide additional resources for those wanting more information and a personalized interactive experience - exactly what a healthy relationship should offer.

It is is a historical thriller/love story set in Narbonne just after the Second Crusade.

1150 in Provence, where love and marriage are as divided as Christian and Muslim. On the run from abuse, Estela's musical talent finds a patron in Alienor of Aquitaine and more than a music tutor in the finest troubadour of the age, Alienor's Commander of the Guard. Weary of war, Dragonetz los Pros uses Jewish money and Moorish expertise to build that most modern of inventions, a paper mill, drawing the wrath of the Church down on his head. Their enemies gather, ready to light the political and religious powder-keg of medieval Narbonne.

  3. Hello!

    Hello!

I saw your information on: http://www.booktweetingservice.com/p/like-free-review.html

My name is Arthur J. Gonzalez. I am the author of Young Adult novel, THE PHOTO TRAVELER. I am extremely interested in a book review and/or Author interview.

Please let me know if this is possible, and where I can send my physical copies to. :)

    Synopsis:
Seventeen-year-old Gavin Hillstone is resigned to being miserable for the rest of his life. Left alone in the world after his parents died in a fire when he was four, he was placed in foster care, which for him meant ending up in an abusive home with an alcoholic adoptive father.

Gavin’s only escape is in taking and creating images. His camera is his refuge from the unending torture and isolation of daily life in his “family.”

Until he learns by accident that he isn’t alone in the world after all. His father’s parents are still alive and living in Washington DC.

When he takes the plunge and travels 3,000 miles to find his grandparents, he learns that they—and he—are part of something much bigger, and more dangerous, than he could ever have imagined. Something that has always put his family at risk and that will now threaten his own life, while forever changing it.

He learns that he is one of the last descendants of a small group of Photo Travelers—people who can travel through time and space through images. But his initial excitement turns to fear, when he soon discovers that he and his grandparents are being pursued by the fierce remnants of a radical European Photo Traveler cult, the Peace Hunters. What Gavin has, they want!

His adventure will take him to past eras, like The Great Depression and the Salem Witch Trials. Gavin will have to discover who he really is and must make choices that spell the difference between life and death for himself, for the relatives he now knows and loves, and for the girl he will come to love.

For Gavin Hillstone, life will never be the same.

  6. Hi Eline,
My name is Ninie Hammon. I recently purchased from my publisher the rights to all seven of my novels. The print versions are still available on Amazon, but I will be re-launching each one as an eBook on Kindle at intervals for the rest of this year.
I found your name on a list of book reviewers on BookTweeting.com. You said there that what mattered to you in a book was "the connection I feel with the characters and the plot" I believe you would enjoy my book The Memory Closet because it’s about people and relationships. I think you’ll like it.
I can find the book description and the first chapter on my website, http://bit.ly/9eWebsite. Just click on the book cover on the home page sidebar or look in the bookstore. If you’d be interested in reviewing The Memory Closet, I can provide it to you electronically as a Mobi file for Kindle or an EPub file. I can also send to you an ePDF file or a print copy.
Whether you decide you’d like to review my book or not, I want to thank you for what you do. Authors need book reviews. They give us credibility and visibility in the massive sea of books being published in today’s marketplace. I so appreciate it that you take the time to read and then tell others what you think about what you’ve read. You are a blessing to us all.
I look forward to hearing from you. My email address is niniehammon@niniehammon.com or niniehammon@mac.com .

    Thanks so much,
    Ninie Hammon

  7. Hi Eline,

My name is Cyril Bussiere. I am looking for honest reviews of my new book, The WorldMight, a fantasy imbued with romance and mysticism.
"Find the word, save the girl" is the tagline of the WorldMight.
At its core it's a character-driven story of love and redemption, a classical drama with magic heavily influenced by my personal experiences with eastern spiritual practices.

Please find below the synopsis as well as a link to The WorldMight’s Amazon page. I am also attaching a sample.

If you are interested in reviewing it, I would gladly email you a PDF or mobi file.

Regardless of your decision, I thank you for your time and consideration.
    Sincerely,
    Cyril Bussiere.
    http://cyrilbussiere.wordpress.com/

    The WorldMight Synopsis:
It is the end of fall in the kingdom of Alymphia. Princess Aria and Prince Hob are readying themselves for yet another Fall Passing Festival. But unbeknownst to them, change is coming to the kingdom. Change brought on by dark forces and events that occurred generations prior. And those changes will unfold over their lives like a flood that nothing can stop.

In another place and another time, a mysterious prince walks the world, trusted steel at his belt and a mystical stone imbued with magic at his neck. He is looking for a word that has never been said; a word that would save his love from the grip of an ancient beast.

The WorldMight is a fantasy imbued with romance and mysticism. It is a classic tale of love truer than time, a spiritual journey in a world heavy with secrets and magic. Despite spanning generations and more, it is also a very personal story of devotion, jealousy, and redemption.

  8. I was wondering if you could read and review the book I've written. It is aimed at a young adult audience that enjoy fantasy/adventure books. I can send you a pdf of the book if you would like to read it.

Arella is an outcast in her tribe, white skinned and silver haired, bright purple eyes and a strong will, while the others are dark skinned and passive. She longs to be free of the chains of society, but does not realize the dangers of this. Arella will soon come to find that the real world is not so easy to live with... Under the lone tree sits a girl of fourteen. Skin flawless and white as snow, hair as silver as the moon its-self. The breeze catches a wisp of hair, blowing it in front of her eyes. She takes her hair into her hand and pulls it all to her right, tying it into a loose braid. Using the water of the lake to see her reflection, she replaces the onyx coloured feathers she removed from her hair just a few hours ago, then secures it all with a leather strap at the bottom. She pulls her doe skin cloak tight around her shoulders. The breeze is nice, fresh and sweet, but still has the winter chill. The fabric of her trousers is soft but warm, made from the skin of a paloa fox, abundant in the grasslands. Many of the people in her tribe wear paloa skins, and they have been passed down through the generations. A young girl finds herself in a world where she is different, and different is feared. Arella longs for freedom and the chance to be who she wants to be, but does not realize the perils that come with this freedom.
